On 6th traditional competition of steam locomotives for Central Europe, held in Budapest, "Serbian Railways" team has been awarded a Grand Prix – said today the Assistant Director of Passenger Transport in "Serbian Railways", Branka Stamenkovic, in her statement for Media Center of our enterprise.

According to her words, last year’s winner title has been maintained, and for the third time they won aGrand Prix for a steam locomotive of a museum  train "Romantika", as well as the first place in the category for small steam locomotives, competing with six other railway companies and nine teams from Austria, Ireland, Slovakia, Finland and Hungary, hosting the competition.

Part of this event was an international competition for dinning cars, with the participants from Austria, Croatia, Ireland, Hungary, Romania and Serbia.

"Team of KSR Belgrade, driving in the dinning car from "Romantika" composition, representing "Serbian Railways", won the first three places: in the category for the best cook, the best standard menu meal and the best restaurant service", specified Stamenkovic.
