As of the 1st of January 2008, with the application of Smoking Restriction Law, smoking will be banned on all international trains of Serbian Railways and other railway enterprises, operating through our country – decided “Serbian Railways” Management.

Restriction does not include the trains operating between “Serbian Railways” and “Railways of Montenegro”.

“Serbian Railways” Management obliged train crew and couchette-car attendants to obey and execute the decision strictly, penalizing the passengers after one verbal warning. In case the penal does not take effect, railway employees is obliged to submit denouncement against the offender to Misdemeanor Judge.
