The Government of the Republic of Serbia has, at session held on November 6, appointed Mr. Milovan Markovic, Bachelor of Science in Electronic engineering as the new Director General of PE “Serbian Railways”.

Milovan Markovic is delegate of the Democratic Party in Serbian Parliament, Deputy Chairman of the Traffic and Connections Board and Member of Board for relations with Serbs out of Serbia within the parliament, as well as the Chairman of the Municipal Board of the Democratic Party in Valjevo.

Markovic was previously rendering the function of the Director of Construction Directorate in Valjevo.

He was born in 1954.
